My Gym Bag Essentials on a Budget

May 9, 2017

I consider myself lucky. I have a [small] gym in my basement with weights, benches and a treadmill. Even though my finances don’t allow for me to have a gym membership, I still manage to get a workout in at least three times a week. Packing my gym bag is a breeze. I only bring the essentials with me so I’m not loaded down with a bunch of random items,…

Pregnancy After Infertility…How It Really Feels

May 7, 2017

April 19th, 2010…the day that changed it all. The birth of my first child, Isabella. . If hindsight were 20/20, I would’ve cherished those precious first moments more than I did. I was freshly 19 years old and barely out of the womb myself. When I was holding my swaddled newborn, I had no idea that it would take me years to achieve another pregnancy and hold her…

Always wanting to do a dozen and a half crafts during the weekend! She’s shown interest in ocean animals, so I thought I would browse for ocean themed crafts for kids that seem easy enough to…

Create Your Own One-of-a-Kind Jewelry with Cutie Stix! + GIVEAWAY

April 30, 2017

Bella and I are pretty crafty. So crafty than in lieu of sports that she is just not interested in, our weekends consist of doing arts and crafts galore. While most of the time I rely on objects like paper plates or popsicle sticks or toilet paper rolls, I do enjoy introducing actual kits and stations to my daughter. I was recently sent the Cutie Stix Cut & Create Station, along with a few refill packs, and once my daughter set eyes on the box, she couldn’t wait to design her own bracelets, necklaces and more!

Goodbye Colic! Hello Dr.Brown’s Baby!

April 29, 2017

Determining how you want to feed your baby can be one of the toughest decisions for some moms. If you choose to formula-feed or pump, you then have to decide on which bottle is best for your family. For us, that’s Dr.Brown’s. Dr.Brown’s was a staple in my household when my older daughter was a wee baby, and Baby Girl will be using them, as well, for when I choose to feed a pumped bottle of breast milk.
