Discovery Bay Games – Review and Giveaway – Ends 7/24

Even though my daughter is only 15 months old, she loves to play games. While it’s basic, simple games now, I know she will be able to handle more complex ones. Discovery Bay Games has a HUGEEE variety of games to choose from, for all ages.

Everyone on the Discovery Bay team considers each day an opportunity to create products that are ground-breaking, unique and worthy of their mission: “to bring friends and family together to interact, play, and laugh.” The talented professionals at Discovery Bay thrive amidst this ambitious and thrilling challenge.
For my review, I was sent three products from Discovery Bay Games preschool line. The first product I reviewed was the Alex Beard Alphabet Flash Cards. Education is extremely vital to me, and I want to instill that love of education in my daughter. All education starts with learning ABCs. I plan on teaching Isabella her ABC’s soon, and these flash cards will be an excellent supplement for my teachings. I realize she’s young, but I strongly believe that it’s never too young to have your children learn.
The Alex Beard Alphabet Flash Cards are intended for ages 3 and up, but I simply do not believe that you should wait that long to begin teaching your child their ABC’s. However, if you do decide to wait to teach, you can still use these beautifully illustrated 8×10 flash cards as wall art in your baby’s nursery.
Description from Discovery Bay Games’ website
“Twenty-seven, colorful, hand-illustrated flash cards by Alex Beard, based on his children’s book – The Jungle Grapevine. These 8”x10” flash cards make wonderful wall art for any nursery or children’s bedroom.
Next, I received the Alex Beard Monkey See, Monkey Draw Flash Cards. Like the product above, these 8×10 flash cards are drawn to perfection…and they would make killer wall art. These cards not only teach children about animals, but they also introduce other languages – Spanish, Chinese and French. The Alex Beard Animal Flash Cards would fit wonderfully in a preschool classroom, as well as a child’s playroom.
Description from Discovery Bay Games’ website:
Join monkey, flamingo, porcupine, and the rest of the watering hole gang to learn your favorite animals’ names in four different languages – English, Spanish, Chinese, and French! Inspired by the whimsical art of Alex Beard’s new book, Monkey See, Monkey Draw, these 8”x10” multi-lingual flash cards are not only educational; they make gorgeous wall art for any classroom, nursery or children’s bedroom. Invite Alex Beard’s loveable characters into your child’s life, and watch their curiosity grow as they are welcomed into the magic of new languages and cultures.
Lastly, I received the Ringling Numbers Flash Card Set to review. This set contains numbers 1-25. My favorite card is the number two card that features two adorable elephants balancing on a ball. These cards would be an excellent way for a child to learn numbers.
Description from Discovery Bay Games’ website:
Two baby elephants, eight baby tigers, twenty trapeze artists, oh my! What better way to teach number recognition than with the delightfully whimsical Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® number flashcards? Numbering up to twenty-five, each card is uniquely designed using the authentic styling of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® artwork. With each new number comes a new enchanting image that will make learning to count endless fun for your little one! But the adventure doesn’t stop there; these 8”x10” cards are durable enough to be used for decorative purposes. Hang your favorite number, or precious characters on the wall!
