Learning Resources’ Hide-n-Go Moo Review + Giveaway [Ends 2/28]

Educational toys are my preferred choice when shopping for my daughter. Just because a toy teaches your child new and valuable information doesn’t mean it has to be boring and mundane. Isabella received the Hide-n-Go Moo toy to review. Although we recently reviewed a similar toy called Hide-n-Go Fish, this toy teaches a few different lessons. First off, it introduces farm animals to young children who are thrilled to know more about them. Isabella is an animal fanatic, and her favorite farm animal is…well, all of them! Before receiving this fun toy, she knew a great majority of the “basic” animals, including the ones featured in this toy – cows, pigs, ducks and horses.

This adorable barn is the habitat to four different momma and baby animals that I previously mentioned – cows, pigs, ducks and horses. Since Isabella already owned a similar toy, she knew just what to do when she saw the vinyl flaps! As she reached inside to choose an animal, she exclaimed what they were and what sound they make. We’ve been practicing animal sounds, and it’s warming to see her put her knowledge to use.

Another topic that the Hide-n-Go Moo toy teaches kids is how to match momma animals with baby animals. Although I don’t believe Isabella understands that the bigger animals were the mommies (I could be wrong…), she was able to match them up.

Once she had all the animals out of the barn, she began to play with them like any of her other toys. (She even had them interact with the fishies in the Hide-n-Go Fish toy )
