Where has the time gone? I seriously have not a clue. It feels like just yesterday, I gave birth to a newborn with a full head of black hair. That same little baby is going into Pre-Kindergarten in August. While I know she’s smart and will do well her first year of school, I want to make sure she’s absolutely prepared for this new venture. That’s why I’d like to talk about Learning Resources’ Let’s Tackle Kindergarten tackle box!
This tackle box comes with everything you need to prepare your child in tackling Kindergarten. While Bella won’t be entering actual Kindergarten til next fall, a lot of the concepts included in this tackle box will be necessary for her upcoming Pre-K year. After discovering the box with my daughter, I realized that Bella already knows some of the skills involved. However, it’s extremely important to reiterate these skills.
This box includes items for upcoming Kindergarteners to get them ready with the following skills: social skills, personal well-being, listening and speaking, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, reading, handwriting, math, thinking and problem solving, and creativity.
One thing that I love about this Let’s Tackle Kindergarten set is that it’s hands-on. She’ll be able to go from subject to a different subject with ease thanks to this set.
We’re currently working on handwriting. She knows how to identify different letters, but is having some difficulty writing the letters. I believe that with practice and using this tackle box, she’ll be ready to write letters in no time at all.
Set includes 178 pieces:
