Nausea is no fun – whether it be from motion sickness, pregnancy or just a symptom from an illness.
Nausea can often be debilitating and unable to perform even the most basic of tasks. As a full-time work from home mom, I simply do not have the time to deal with nausea. A day away from my business could mean income loss or a delay in a project. Since I’m still actively trying to conceive, I also know that once I do become pregnant (God willing), I will likely suffer from morning sickness. I was lucky with my last pregnancy and only dealt with it for a few days the entire time. The chances of me being lucky again are very slim!
One way that I’ve found to quickly relieve nausea is by wearing wrist bands dedicated to such – specifically PsiBands!
I received three different designs from PsiBands to try out. You can use these nifty drug-free wrist bands to help subside nausea that could be caused by morning sickness, motion sickness, anesthesia and chemotherapy. If you’re like me, you’re always looking for ways to live a more natural life, and that includes finding natural remedies for common ailments.
I’ve particularly found PsiBands useful for curing my nausea during my luteal phase, which I am much more aware of since trying to conceive my second child over a year ago. Nausea is a common symptom that I have, and it is extremely prominent during my morning route walking my daughter to school. Since using these bands whenever I feel nauseated, I noticed that it quickly subsides. I can’t afford to spend hours in bed holding on to my stomach with a trash can at the edge of my bed, and thankfully with PsiBands…I no longer have to!
PsiBands use acupressure, which is an ancient healing art, to help relieve nausea. There has been research done to determine that acupressure on the wrist is excellent for doing away with pesky and often debilitating nausea.
PsiBands are adjustable to your specific wrist size. You want to apply enough pressure while still maintaining comfort. They fit up to a 7 1/2″ wrist circumference. In addition to the bands being adjustable, they are also waterproof, reusable and affordable.
You can find PsiBands in store at your local Babies R Us, Target, CVS, Whole Foods, along with other markets. They are also available online via Amazon, Walgreens.com, Target.com, and more. They retail for $15 for a pair of two bands.
