Red Rose Fine Teas Review

Believe it or not, I didn’t start liking tea until after I had my daughter. Being from the South, the most common teas available are sweet and iced tea. Neither of which I like. My love began when someone recommended herbal teas to either perk me up or settle me down. I couldn’t believe that tea could produce such effects. Not to mention, they tasted a lot better than traditional Southern tea. I have since broadened my tea horizons and discovered new flavors and brands – such as the flavors available at Red Rose, who have been producing fine teas since 1890.

I received six different flavors to review – energy teas (sweet vanilla and hazelnut), sweet mint, spiced chai, vanilla biscotti and cinnamon bun. I actually don’t have a Keurig or a product similar to it, so I had to share some with my friend in exchange for using her Keurig. It provided for the perfect girl’s day in. Nothing is more relaxing than sipping on a premium black tea blend while the kids are playing on the swingset in the backyard.

Each box contains 12 cups, which caused this batch to last quite a while. While all of the flavors were delightful, my favorite flavor was a tie between vanilla biscotti and spiced chai. Both flavors had a mild flavor that agreed with me and my taste buds. My friend’s favorite, however, was sweet mint. I must say, the aroma that the sweet mint tea produced was quite pleasant.

We decided to try out the energy teas a few days later, and boy – did we need it! You’d think because we had our children young, that we would still have lots of energy, but that is far from the case. I can never get used to waking up at the crack of dawn. The french vanilla energy tea was just what I needed to give me an energy boost. My friend went with the hazelnut flavor, even though she had a difficult time choosing after watching me enjoy my cup.

All in all, we were thoroughly pleased with our experience with Red Rose teas!
