Tommee Tippee Explora Spoons and Sippy Cups Review & Giveaway [CLOSED]

My daughter is stuck on sippy cups. Today, we found out she is afraid of straws. Weird, huh? When you’re looking for the best sippy cups out there, Tommee Tippee will immediately exit my mouth! We’re talking spill proof, leak proof and uber adorable designs and colors.

Tommee Tippee sent me two of their incredible products to review – the Explora Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cup and the Explora Weaning Spoons. Even though Isabella is 2-years old, both of these products are extremely useful in my household. If your toddler is anything like mine, you go through sippy cups like nobody’s business. Isabella has approximately 30 sippy cups…maybe even more! However, we’re loyal to two brands – one of those being Tommee Tippee.

Tommee Tippee has one thing that my other favorite brand doesn’t. That being colorful prints and designs. Isabella is so drawn to the little birdy and bunny adorned on both of her new cups. She’s starting to learn about different kinds of animals, and she immediately pointed out “ducky”. Close enough!!

In the multi pack are five spoons in three different colors – blue, green and orange. For smaller babies who are teething, the tips are very soft and won’t disturb or cause any pain to tender gums. It has a shallow base that is perfect for the weaning baby. Although Isabella is past the teething stage, she is still able to use these spoons, and I actually think they might be her favorite. They’re long and thick enough for her tiny hands to wrap around, and the shallow base allows for her to pick up the appropriate amount of grub. She eats regular table food along with premade meals, and this is great for all different types of food that requires a spoon. Whether it be soups, spaghetti-o’s, or the occasional ice cream.

Like I stated earlier, Isabella loved the designs on both of the Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cups. What I liked is that it is completely spill proof and leak proof. I cannot tell you how many times and sippy cups I have purchased that had more juice or water land on the floor (or all over Isabella) than in her tummy. Nothing is more annoying than having to wipe up red juice on a white carpet. I don’t have to worry about such with Tommee Tippee’s sippy cups.

These sippy cups are recommended for children ages 7-12 months and up. They are BPA-free and includes a hygiene cap. I wish this was mandatory with all sippy cups. I toss Isabella’s sippy cups into my purse, and there might be some items in there that do not need to be in contact with the spout (like makeup and gum). The lids are also interchangeable!
