…but I was only nineteen.

Actually, Isabella was conceived when I was eighteen. Had her a little over four months after I turned nineteen. I had my whole life ahead of me. Graduation was a joyous moment in my life. But, just two short months later…I was nine months away from being a mother. A mother?! I’m so young. “A baby having a baby” – as strangers, friends and some family members remarked (either in…

First diced carrots is a SUCCESS!

Isabella has been excellent with solids, ever since she was 4 months old (cereal). This girl only hates ONE food…which is green beans. Don’t blame her, I hate them, as well. I’m trying to have her like a variety of food. Anyone who has been around me knows how much of a picky eater I am. I don’t like trying new foods, because chances are…I’ll hate it. Fruits are a…

HAPPY 10 MONTHS, BABYGIRL!!!!

You turned TEN months yesterday! Good grief! Where has the time gone?! I can’t believe you’re getting so big. You’re a walking, talking machine! Your eyes already look like they’re getting better. You’ll catch on…

Unfortunately, I had an awful post-delivery nurse,…

Nine month appointment.

Today, Isabella and I went to her nine month well-baby checkup. She weighs in at 19.4lbs, and she’s 28 inches long. The doctor checked her and whatnot. Her ear pulling is nothing. She doesn’t have an ear infection. He said that it’s because she’s learning about her hand/eye coordination, and she just likes to pull on things. Her eyes…on the other hand, are not okay. She has strabismus, which is…

Pre&post baby pictures

Here are some pictures of myself before and after I had Isabella. Even though I really AM young, I hate that I look like I’m 14. Oh well…it’ll be a positive thing later, I suppose. Top picture: 1/2 months pregnant.Bottom picture: 8 months post-partum 5/6 months pregnant here. This is actually 5 months post-partum! 8 months post-partum.
